Happy Friday!
We are almost 2 weeks into funding and I am so appreciative for everyone who seen all the work that has gone into my project and wants to help make it a reality. I want my game to be a way players can express themselves and their playstyle
Mechanics of the Industrial Grounds
Today, I wanted to go over some Industrial Grounds Cards
Inventors of the Industrial Grounds
Industrial Grounds is all about drawing cards better than any other district. They also have the most modal cards, allowing players to choose which effect they want to use, given the player's needs. This district will also allow you to increase your hand size to 6 with the Enhance mechanic, while decreasing your opponent's hand size to 4 with the Directed Charge and Scatter Charge mechanic.
Designer Interviews
I have been pretty busy scheduling calls with board game channels to help get the word out. Here are a few of the interviews if you would like to hear the process behind designing the game.
Who would be interested in voting on what mechanics that show up on the backer likeness promo cards? I have a ton of new mechanics that I want to implement but I need YOUR help to find which one is the best. Here are a few examples
Cards that are very strong for their cost (Cost 3 Coin, gains 4 Coin) but gives the player an impair token (decreases their hand size 1 for one turn).
The next time you gain resources (Coin, Power or Speed) from a Non-basic card this turn, gain an additional two resources instead
Ally Play Trigger : At the end of your turn, place this card on top of your deck instead of your discard pile

HAPPY HALLOWEEN + Mechanic Spotlight of the Undercity

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
As my wife said "Its spooky day!" so Happy Halloween to everyone!
In the spirit of the season, I wanted to share some ghoulish cards you will see if you align yourself to the undercity. There are 47 different keywords in City of Myrkesh, and these keywords are shared between similar characters. Let me introduce a few members of the secretive flesh cult.
Members of the Flesh Cult
The Undercity is all about gaining Speed, which will allow you to be anywhere in the city you want without sacrificing your other cards for movement. The ghoulish members of this cult utilize the Swift Funds and Switch Strike keywords, allowing the player to covert their Speed into either Coin or Power. This truly allows for explosive turns your opponents won't see coming.
Ally Discard Trigger
Lets look at the Corruption Cultivator a little more closely
Ally Discard Trigger
We see that the Cultivator allows us to choose two options.
But those symbols on the bottom left. What do those infer?
After choosing a first mode, the Cultivator will offer that you may discard a Merchant's Row card or Wilds card. If you do, you can gain the other mode you didn't choose.
Are you telling me that this card could generate up to 7 speed?
Yes I am!
Thank you everyone who has backed the project so far! And enjoy your spooky day!

Mechanics Spotlight on the Merchant's Row

Happy Friday everyone!
To make the end of the work complete, I wanted to share some cards and create a poll.
There are 47 different keywords in City of Myrkesh, and these keywords are shared between similar characters. Let me introduce you to the Witch Trio.
These Witches all share the EXPEDITE keyword, allowing the player to gain extra speed depending on the next card they buy.
Witches of the Merchant's Row
But how do these cards combo off to give you explosive turns?
Let me introduce you to an Undercity Card that allows you to convert extra speed into damage
Amorphous Occultist
With the right set up, a player could convert 5 speed into 5 damage
We are almost half funded!
I want to thank everyone who has backed the project at any level. You guys are so awesome for getting the project as far as it has gotten! We still have plenty to go, so share with others if you can!
